In power transmission, in order to reduce long-distance transmission losses, power stations will use high voltages to send electricity to cities and factories. However, such a high voltage cannot be directly connected to electrical appliances or ordinary equipment at home, and a step-down transformer is required at this time. Its task is very simple-to turn high-voltage electricity into low-voltage electricity suitable for use, such as reducing 10kV to 380V, 220V or even lower. The appearance looks like a square box with an iron or aluminum shell, with an iron core and a winding coil inside. The primary side is connected to the high voltage, and the secondary side outputs the low voltage. As long as the parameters match, it can send out electrical energy stably and continuously, and it is almost not wasted.
