What are Dry Type Transformers
A dry type transformer is an insulation self-cooling power transformer without insulating oil inside the casing. It uses epoxy resin casting or vacuum impregnation technology to insulate windings, relying on natural air circulation or forced air cooling for heat dissipation. The resin encapsulation fully isolates the copper coils from dust, moisture and corrosive gas, ensuring stable electromagnetic conversion in complex indoor environments.
Different from oil immersed transformers, it has no risk of oil leakage, combustion and explosion, which makes it the preferred power distribution equipment for indoor densely populated and high-safety requirement areas.

Insulation process: The interior of the dry-type transformer adopts durable polyester insulating paint and epoxy resin as insulation protection.
