What is a Dry Type Transformer in a Distribution Room?

 

Distribution dry-type transformer is a power distribution system equipment for industrial and mining enterprises and civil buildings. It can reduce the voltage of 10(6)KV or 35KV power grid to the voltage of 220V and 110V user terminals. It is suitable for 50(60)Hz usage scenarios. Three-phase rating The capacity can reach 2500KVA, and the cooling method can be natural air cooling and fan air cooling. It has great advantages in safety and environmental protection, because it is cast with epoxy resin, has no insulating oil, and can not produce gas and non-flammable characteristics at high temperature, and is maintenance-free, flexible to install, and easy to transport, and can operate stably under 100% humidity and multi-dust conditions.

High safety performance

The distribution dry type transformer uses epoxy resin material and has an oil-free design, which fundamentally eliminates the risk of fire and oil leakage. It is very suitable for high-rise buildings, hospitals, subways, big data centers and other places with high fire protection requirements. Different insulation materials can be customized by yourself, which will not cause insulation failure problem at extreme high temperature 220℃. The quality of our products has passed the safety certification of the international authority, and in the case of 750℃ it will not release toxic gases. Epoxy resin cast transformer has the characteristics of moisture-proof, dust-proof and corrosion resistant, with protection level up to IP67, can operate stably in dusty industrial environment.

Efficient energy saving

The new generation product dry-type transformer has more energy efficiency improvement than the previous generation product, exceeding the requirements of the international energy efficiency ordinary standard. Its high-conductivity cold-rolled silicon steel sheet and new design process have greatly reduced the no-load loss standard. Taking 1000 KVA capacity as an example, the no-load loss of the new generation product is reduced by about 13% compared to the previous generation product, and the load loss is reduced by about 6%. Long-term operation can save a lot of power costs. In design, the iron core proportion coefficient is adjusted, and in process, the processing burr is controlled ≤0.03 mm. The assembly adopts advanced five-step lamination process, which reduces the air gap in the iron core joint and makes its noise far lower than the industry average.

Smart monitoring

The distribution dry type transformer has built-in multi-channel temperature sensor, which can monitor the winding and core temperature in real time, and cooperate with the temperature control system to achieve high temperature early warning and remote monitoring problems.
