The safe and stable operation of oil-immersed transformers relies on standardized transportation, installation, operation, maintenance and environmental protection. This guideline summarizes the full-process specifications for Kechang 110kV/220kV oil-immersed transformers, ensuring equipment safety, extending service life and reducing operational costs.

Strict standardized transportation is the primary guarantee to avoid equipment damage. Select load-matched flatbed trucks, fix the transformer body with high-strength straps and solid wood cushions to limit displacement. Although the equipment adopts reinforced housings, fragile parts like sleeves and terminal blocks shall be wrapped with anti-collision materials. During transportation, keep the transformer vertical with a tilt angle below 15 degrees to prevent oil leakage and winding deformation. Adopt reflective tarpaulins for sun shading in high temperatures and constant-temperature vehicles in low-temperature environments. After arrival, inspect the shell, casing and oil level strictly, record damage problems on site and contact after-sales personnel timely without signing for defective equipment.

Standard site preparation lays a solid foundation for stable operation. Clean up installation sundries and pour a load-bearing concrete base with a horizontal error within 3mm, reserving a 1-meter ventilation and maintenance spacing around the equipment. Build an oil collection tank or tray with 110% of the total oil injection volume to prevent oil pollution. Optimize on-site drainage to avoid base corrosion, and configure sun and rain protection for outdoor installation. In advance, verify the matching of high and low voltage cable specifications with transformer parameters, and install lightning arresters and circuit breakers for power consumption safety.

Install and commission equipment strictly by standardized procedures. Lift and position the transformer accurately to reduce wiring stress. Connect cables with a torque wrench following official torque standards, and seal cable interfaces tightly. Fill with Kechang-recommended insulating oil without mixing different oil types, then let the equipment stand for 24 hours to exhaust internal air bubbles. Before startup, complete three core tests: insulation resistance over 20MW, qualified oil dielectric strength and normal phase continuity. Conduct 30-minute no-load monitoring after power-on to confirm no leakage, abnormal noise or overheating before official operation.

Scientific operation and regular maintenance reduce energy consumption and eliminate hidden dangers. Strictly prohibit long-term overload operation (short-term overload ≤15 minutes), and equip power monitors to adjust load timely. Check the oil level weekly and monitor winding temperature (≤105℃) in real time, cleaning radiators and maintaining cooling fans for abnormal temperature rises. Keep three-phase load balance and avoid frequent start-stop to reduce mechanical loss. Implement graded maintenance: monthly inspection for oil leakage and heat dissipation; quarterly oil detection and replacement for deteriorated oil; annual professional overhaul including terminal fastening, casing inspection and lubrication maintenance.

Targeted protection resists extreme environmental hazards. Install dual lightning protection devices for voltage surge resistance. Coat equipment with anticorrosive paint and wrap terminal anticorrosive tape annually in coastal and industrial areas. Seal cable gaps and arrange rodent prevention facilities to avoid short circuits. Reinforce base height in flood-prone areas and fix equipment with anchor bolts in earthquake-prone areas.

Kechang oil-immersed transformers feature reliable quality, 30-year maintenance-free performance, 20% lower noise than industry average and customizable voltage, capacity and materials, adapting to multiple industries and extreme climates. Supported by full-cycle after-sales services, the equipment delivers stable and long-term power operation guarantees for global users.
