In many medium-voltage power distribution projects, a stable and reliable ring main unit is the "hub" for the safe operation of the system. Our 12kV ring main unit has long served commercial complexes, data centers, industrial parks and urban distribution networks. Its performance has been very stable in key places where continuous power supply is required.
The power distribution environment varies widely, some have high temperature and humidity, some have a lot of dust, and some have limited space. When designing our products, we put reliable insulation, solid structure, and durable operation first, so that the equipment can withstand various on-site tests.
It adopts a fully sealed gas insulation structure, the interior is filled with sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆), and the insulation level is high, which can be well isolated from external moisture, dust and corrosive gases.
The shell has a protection level of IP44, which is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. It can maintain stable operation whether it is the rainy season in the south or the windy and sandy days in the north.
Stable electrical performance, fast breaking
The rated voltage is 12kV, the short-circuit breaking capacity is 25kA, and the fault current can be quickly cut off to protect the power grid and equipment.
The main circuit and insulation parts are made of high temperature resistant F-grade materials, which can ensure the reliable operation of the open/close even if it is overloaded for a short time or the ambient temperature is too high.
It is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with standards such as GB/T 11022-2021 and IEC 60298, and has undergone multiple tests from insulation, structure to safety.
Each equipment should be tested for function and withstand voltage before leaving the factory to ensure that it can be stably put into operation when it arrives at the site.
Compact structure and easy installation
In view of the limited space in the distribution room, we optimize the overall size and make vertical installation more land-saving.
It supports copper bars or cables in and out of the line, which is convenient for flexible arrangement according to on-site conditions, and is suitable for the renovation of old stations and new projects.
According to feedback from engineers, handling and wiring are more labor-saving than similar products.
Temperature sensors in the cabinet can be installed to monitor hot spot changes in real time.
Equipped with MODBUS or RS485 interface, it can remotely view data and receive alarms after accessing the background monitoring system.
Under normal use and regular maintenance conditions, the equipment life span can reach 20 to 25 years, and the whole life cycle cost is lower.
Practical application case
Case 1: Commercial complex-a city plaza in East China
The space of the power distribution room of the project is narrow, and the original equipment is seriously aging. After replacing with our 12kV transformer ring main unit, the footprint was reduced by nearly one-third, and the installation and commissioning took only two days. For more than two years of operation, there have been no power outages caused by equipment failures. The customer's operation and maintenance department said that the temperature monitoring function gave them more confidence during peak electricity consumption in summer.
